I was at the cinema yesterday with my son Joe (witching Zombieland if you must know – he is 18 and I am 15. And it was great fun with a brilliant cameo by Bill Murray. Damn the global entertainment industry seducing me into falsely enjoying myself). Anyway they showed this advert for Chivas Regal. You can watch it here. Its amazing stuff. Sounds like its an advert for Ghandi or Mandela but its for blended whisky. How on earth are we to compete with that?

Despite being a lefty-liberal who wants to reduce his impact on the planet.. er… there’s no easy way to put this.. I am thinking of voting CONSERVATIVE.. There I’ve said, there’s no way back..
But think about.. They can’t be any worse at creating debt than New Labour.
They are the party of the Idle Rich. And I am half way there, because I’m certainly idle. And that has to be good for the environment, doesn’t it ??

The worst of it is I KNOW David Cameron is a bit fake by the way he says “What’s occurin’?” when he’s in Wales, and nobody REALLY says that there. But come on, could he really be any worse than what we have got ?
And by the way, I’ve only got my tongue half-in-my-cheek…

Progresive Conservativis can we to the left of New Labour. Even if a little paternal. But they have stopped looking progressive and strated being a bit nasty. Dont commit your vote just yet.
If I still had a British vote (it died some time in the 90s, I think) I sure as hell wouldn’t be voting Labour. They have been a complete waste of time and have hugely advanced the police state. But then you’d have to have a short memory to want to vote Tory.
That surely only leaves the Greens and the Lib Dems. Interestingly, in theory, anyone could win it. After all, all it requires is for the voters to vote for a new party. As we all know, the Tories will win it. But surely, anyone who takes this blog seriously would be voting Lib Dem or Green, and if you take it very seriously, you’d have to vote Green only.
The Greens have a lot of great policies Alex but our voting system means they only have a chnace in a couple of seats
